With the new expansion on the East Stadium, over 90,000 lucky individuals will be able to watch the Huskers this fall from the beautiful confines of Memorial Stadium. Unfortunately, not everyone can be in Lincoln on game days and for those Husker fans who find themselves spread throughout the country, it’s imperative to find a place to watch your beloved Cornhuskers where you can feel at home.
Over the Summer, we compiled a list of the top Husker Bars throughout the country using information such as Yelp reviews, Facebook Likes, Game Day Experience and fan feedback as our deciding factors. It wasn’t easy to narrow the list down, but we finally came to our conclusion on our Top Ten Husker Bars for 2013.
During the next few days we will countdown the list and hopefully give Husker fans spread out across the US new places to watch the Huskers this season.

#6 – CJ’s Draft House – Deerfield Beach, FL
As home of the South Florda Huskers, all Husker game days are verified to be on TV at CJ’s Draft House.
You’re gonna LOVE this place! Is it the 35 televisions, (including 11 giant eight-foot screens) broadcasting every sport, the friendly crowd, daily beer bucket, drink and food specials, the Happy Hour stretching from 11 AM to 7 PM weekdays, or the wallet friendly, mouth-watering food? It’s all these things that make CJ’s Draft House in Deerfield Beach so much fun!
If you’re more of a foodie than a sports nut, you’ll love the Jumbo Clam Strips, Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, Onion Rings and Chicken Bites. A Nacho Mountain feeds the whole gang, or a full pound of Dungeness Crab Legs is just for you. Try the Philly sandwiches, like Original Cheese Steak, the Chicken and Pizza versions, are authentic. Watch a game over fall-off-the-bone Ribs, or 12 ounces of Mahi Mahi, prepared any way you like. How about a juicy half-pound Angus Burger, Fries and a Pickle?
Pick a sandwich from the tempting list: BLT, Tuna Melt or Pulled Pork. Vegetarian? The Grilled Portabella and Swiss is sensational! Have a beer, a glass of wine, your favorite cocktail or a refreshing soft drink (refills free with your meal). The Kids Menu is great, too; one kid eats free with each adult entree on Tuesdays! Enjoy a fantastic dessert, like Brownie Cheesecake or Banana/Chocolate Empanadas. Eating, drinking, laughing, sports-watching and good times — they’re all on the menu at CJ’s Draft House. Your beer’s getting warm …

#4 – The Happy Ending Bar – Hollywood, CA
The Happy Ending, the highly anticipated restaurant and bar from Restaurateurs’; Mario Guddemi and Salvatore Aurora sets it’s sights on bringing an upscale New York dive bar and an innovative version of classic “bar food” to Hollywood beginning in October 2007. Located at 7038 West Sunset Boulevard, THE HAPPY ENDING will be a addition to a redefined Sunset Strip that prizes fun and comfort over exclusivity and pretension.
Having spent time in the Los Angeles Nightclub scene, Mario Guddemi and Salvatore Aurora saw the need for a place where people could gather, relax, and feel at home, away from the velvet rope, guest-list only scene that accompanies so many of Hollywood’s great establishments. And so THE HAPPY ENDING was conceived to provide an inviting hot spot for locals to frequent, establishing a sense of community in the neighborhood which is helped by watching the Huskers take on the Big 10.
Check back tomorrow as we countdown bars #3 thru #1 on our Top Ten Husker Bar list for 2013!
